THE MERCIFUL GOD
I PRAISE YOU FATHER BECAUSE "YOU HAVE NEVER FORSAKEN ME; FOR YOU ARE A MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS GOD"

"But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God." NIV
"But your compassion is endless.
You didn't destroy them or abandon them.
You are a merciful and compassionate God." GODS WORD
"And yet, because your mercy is great,
you did
not forsake or destroy them.
You are a gracious and merciful God!" GNT
"You didn't walk out and leave them for good; yes, you are a God of grace and compassion." THE MESSGE
We serve a God who characteristics are GRACE, KINDNESS, LOVE MERCY AND COMPASSION. This means that GODS favour and love are upon us all even when we don't deserve it.
-Gods grace is unmerited meaning we don't earn it through good deeds or behaviour
-Gods grace is given freely based purely on Gods love and character
-God loves unconditionally, offering forgiveness and grace even when we have sinned
-Gods gracious character shows us that God actively seeks to show us compassion and grace
-Gods kindness towards us, it shows Gods active and personal relationship with us, and an understanding towards us his children.
-Gods kindness is offered unconditionally, even when we do wrong
-Gods love is unconditional, he loves everyone, all of us equally regardless of our actions ( he many not like our actions at times) or circumstances
-Gods love is sacrificial, we see this in the sacrifice of Jesus
-Gods love is everlasting, God is eternal and never ending so he love is eternal and never ending
-Gods love is personal, God loves each of us deeply and intimately
-Gods mercy gives us a chance to change our ways
-Gods mercy is shown through the forgiveness of our sins, allowing us to be reconciled with God despite our imperfections
-Gods mercy is available through repentance
-Gods mercy does not condone sin but offers a pathway to redemption
-The God of compassion, sees and hears us when we cry to him in our suffering
-Gods compassion provides for all our needs
-Gods love and compassion gave his one and only son to die for us
-Gods compassion is shown by him actively caring for all humanity
