LIBERATOR

RESCUER

SAVIOUR

 DELIVERER

REDEEMER

 FREEDOM

MESSIAH God as liberator is the the one who sets us free, saves us, rescues us when we are in trouble, comforts us, and walks with us in our times of need.

The word liberator comes from the Latin word LIBERARE which means to set free

David is praying for a speedy deliverance from his enemies. He is confident in the Lords salvation and deliverance from his enemies.

David makes himself vulnerable and shows his dependence on God.

David shows the contrast between his weakness and Gods strength.

David knows and fully trusts that God is the source of all his strength and protection.

This reminds us that God is a constant deliverer, a source of joy, and an impetus for praise, irrespective of our current circumstances. Like David, in our poor and needy moments, we can cry out to God, trusting fully in His timely deliverance and ultimately celebrating His great deeds.
