THE GRACE OF GOD

MARVELLOUS MARCH

DAY 26

THE GRACE OF GOD - I just want to praise you, Father, for your grace that cant be earned, that I don't deserve. I praise you that I am made righteous through Jesus.

Romans 5:21

ROMANS 5:21

So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God's wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. NLT

 that, as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. KJV

As sin ruled by bringing death, God's kindness would rule by bringing us his approval. This results in our living forever because of Jesus Christ our Lord. GWT

All that passing laws against sin did was produce more lawbreakers. But sin didn't, and doesn't, have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace. When it's sin versus grace, grace wins hands down. All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that's the end of it. Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life—a life that goes on and on and on, world without end. MSG 20-21

 We are declared righteous in the eyes of the Holy God. This is the wonder of grace! This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace. TPT

We as human beings cant escape our own sinful nature, no matter how badly we want to.  Only with Gods intervention and grace can we do so. If we let sin rule over our lives it leads to death, but if we accept Jesus as our saviour and live a life that reflects Gods character and teachings, if we accept Jesus as our saviour who died to take away our sins , we live in righteousness and are redeemed, we live in Gods Grace and have eternal life.

Righteousness is not something we can earn, but freely given to by God through our faith in Jesus the Messiah.

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, Christ has victory over sin and death.

As believers, followers of Christ we have been raised to life, redeemed, given new life through Jesus, the repentance of our sins, the renewal of our minds, we will walk in eternity with God, the one who created us and loves us the most.

God grace is his unmerited favour and blessings, a gift of love and kindness bestowed upon humanity, despite our unworthiness. It is the foundation for salvation, forgiveness and relationship with God, Something we cannot earn but receive freely.

UNDESERVED FAVIOUR - Gods grace is not something we earn through good deeds or actions; it's a free gift offered to all, regardless of their actions or worthiness.

FOUNDATION FOR SALVATION - Being reconciled with God is possible only through Gods grace, not through human effort.

FORGIVNESS AND RECONCILLIATION - Grace is central to the concept of forgiveness, as it allows God to forgive our sins and reconcile us to himself, even though we are not worthy of such forgiveness

ENABLEMENT AND STRENGHT - Gods grace a source of strength, enabling us and empowering us to live a life pleasing to God

PRAYER - PSALM 36

I have a message from God in my heart
concerning the sinfulness of the wicked:[b]
There is no fear of God
before their eyes.

2 In their own eyes they flatter themselves
too much to detect or hate their sin.
3 The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful;
they fail to act wisely or do good.
4 Even on their beds they plot evil;
they commit themselves to a sinful course
and do not reject what is wrong.

5 Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.
6 Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your justice like the great deep.
You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
7 How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
8 They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.
9 For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.

10 Continue your love to those who know you,
your righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 May the foot of the proud not come against me,
nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
12 See how the evildoers lie fallen—
thrown down, not able to rise!
