Day 15

THE GOD OF LIGHT

I praise you Lord because you are my light and salvation (Psalm 27:1) and because you know what lies in darkness, and light dwells within you (Daniel 2:22)

Daniel 2:22

-God can uncover truths and secrets that are beyond human comprehension

-God can see and understand things that are hidden or concealed even in the darkest of seasons and circumstances

 -God's holiness, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, immutability, truth, righteousness and love  are  described as light in this verse 

Psalm 27:1

-Gods light and presence guides and illuminates our paths, providing clarity and direction

- Gods light is his truth, knowledge and goodness

- God rescues us , he delivers us, he offers us salvation

- Nothing should cause us fear when --God is on our side, when we say "whom shall I be afraid?" we are declaring our trust and confidence in God.

-David the psalmist had faced both joy and hardship and expresses his unwavering faith in Gods protection and guidance 

-We need to trust in Gods wisdom, even when faced with difficult or confusing situations. 

- We need to remember that God guides us through the darkness and protects us from harm

- We need to seek Gods guidance in matters that are beyond human understanding. 

- We need to know and fully trust and believe we are not alone in our struggles

- We need to live in all that Gods light is even in times of darkness and uncertainty

- We need to remember that God is always active and present in every situation
