THE GOD OF JOY

I give you praise, O Lord because you have granted me eternal blessings and made me glad with the JOY OF YOUR PRESENCE

PSALM 21:6

"You have endowed him with eternal blessings
and given him the joy of your presence." NLT

"For Thou hast made him most blessed for ever; Thou hast made him exceeding glad with Thy countenance." KJV

"Your blessings are with him forever,
and your presence fills him with joy." GNT

"You have endowed him with eternal happiness. You have given him the unquenchable joy of your presence." Living Bible

"You pile blessings on him;
you make him glad when you smile." The message

"For you make him most blessed forever.
You make him glad with joy in your presence." WEB

"Your victory heaps blessing after blessing upon him. What joy and bliss he tastes," TPT

David proclaimed that he was most blessed forever, but it was the presence of God Himself that was his greatest blessing and gladness. David was more thrilled with the presence of God than with the crown of royalty or victory.

- This verse reminds us and encourages us that we find Joy in Gods presence and we wee need to look beyond material possessions.

- If we can live in Gods joy through all seasons and circumstances then we a truly blessed.

-Joy comes from God

- The joy of God is an inner peace that remains with us even in difficult circumstances

- This joy comes from a deep personal relationship with God

-This joy comes through prayer, studying Gods word and through dwelling in his presence

- Joy comes from the holy spirit and being filled with Gods presence

To live in Gods joy we need to live in a deep and personal  relationship with Him. We need to stop being dependant on material and external circumstances. We need to actively choose to focus on Gods goodness even through difficult life seasons, the seasons of our life change, sometimes we are on mountain tops, sometimes we walk in the valleys, but God remains constant and consistent through all seasons. Our Joy doesn't come from our circumstances but from our relationship with God.

- we need to develop a strong connection and relationship with God through prayer, bible study, worship. Our Joy will come from Gods loving character.

- We need to reflect and look back on past blessing in our life. We need to practice gratitude and thanksgiving. W e will always have something to be thankful for however big or small. This will help us to develop a joyful mindset.

- The way we align our lives and actions to Gods word and teachings will bring us joy as we live our lives according to his will.

- We need to focus on and remember to live in faith and trust in God. Being faithful during difficult seasons, trusting fully on God, knowing he is working in the background, knowing he is always with us , Knowing he is always behind us, beside us and in front of us brings us a sense of hope and joy.
