Day 24

THE GOD OF ALL THE EARTH -  I praise and adore you, Lord as the Holy one of Israel.... My Redeemer... the God of the Earth

Isaiah 54:4

your Creator will be your husband;
the Lord of Heaven's Armies is his name!
He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel,
the God of all the earth.  NLT

For your Maker is your husband –
the Lord Almighty is his name –
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth. NIV

 Your Creator will be like a husband to you—

the Lord Almighty is his name.

The holy God of Israel will save you—

he is the ruler of all the world. GNT

For thy Maker is thine husband" the Lord of hosts is His name" and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; the God of the whole earth shall He be called. KJV

For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth. TPT 

Isiah 54:5 is telling us that God is our maker and redeemer. He is like a husband who cares for his wife and offers comfort.

The verse is telling us that God offered comfort  and hope to the people of Israel after a period of desolation and exile. 

God was the creator and sustainer then and still is now

God is faithful and loving, he want to protect and care for us

God has all power and authority as the ruler of all creatin and the heavenly hosts

God rescues and restores

God is the only one who can redeem his people through Jesus

God is sovereign and has dominion over all creation 

The people Israel were desolate and forsaken but the author tells us that God will restore Israel and be faithful to the people. God can do and will do the same for us today.
